A emergency community meeting will be held on November 12 at 10 AM, at Fire Station 14. This meeting is set to discuss the lack of volunteers available to respond to a fire call. We only have Six volunteers and most of these work in Fresno. The County will only pay for one firefighter during the winter months. If the volunteers fail to respond One firefighter is available to save you and your home. Station Information Our station is located on Rd. 274 next to the Madera County Government Center. We are fortunate to have a modern station. It has a fully outfitted Water Tender, Engine and Breathing Support/Rescue. The station has crew quarters and office space like any other fully manned station. Bass Lake is the main filling station for the breathing apparatus in eastern Madera County. |
Sierra Ambulance houses One ambulance at Bass Lake. We contract with the County of Madera to provide paramedic 9-1-1 services. Insurance program
